Resource Bank is the best bank if you have one near you. Mainly just Northshore/Southshore though

Don't fall for this trap. It's a con. Whoever posted their real bank info will be wiped clean in the morning. Good luck

I use Fidelity's cash management account as my primary checking, direct deposit and bill pay account. Their debit card reimburses ATM fees so I can use it anywhere.

I switched to Fidelity a couple years ago after Capital One bought ING Direct.

I also have a SunTrust account for backup checking account and safety deposit box.

Ouachita Independent Bank.

Easy as shite to find an ATM because they reimburse all the fees for any ATM anywhere in the country. Don't know why you would go with a bank that didn't.

Last year 98.4% of my spending was via plastic instead of cash. But to say you haven't used cash in years means you aren't doing anything or are intentionally avoiding things that would still be cash-only.

Things like sporting event parking, admission into your nephew's middle school basketball game, avoiding the concessions line in the superdome and grabbing a beer from the vendor, buying that jambalaya plate for the cub scout fundraiser, etc.

For the limited times I need to withdraw $20 or so (15-20x a year) its nice to know I'm not blowing $3.50 each time or driving to my servicer's ATM.

Have no complaints at all about Chase. Very good. Wachovia was great, then WF fricked that up. Glad I moved over.

Capital One always struck me as a second tier, sort of slimy credit card outfit, but a lot of people seem to like banking with them.

Pick any ATM. Fees are refunded up to $15 (I believe) per month.
