They were selling flags at a local Wal-Mart for $17.76. I was incredulous that a Wal-Mart employee could come up with that marketing tactic.

Get one flown over the US Capitol. For Christmas, I got my mother and sister flags flown on what would have been my grandfather's 85th bday. Favorite gift I've ever given.

Contact your Congressperson or Senator and request one that’s flown over the Capitol. It won’t be in for the 4th but it’s still something cool to have.

Costco has embroidered flags. Great quality and cost about $35.

Yeah, Walmart had high quality made in USA flags for $20.
I put those out for holidays and use a cheap one on the pole.
I used to have a nice one I got as a reward it had flown over the Capitol. It was in a moving box that was stolen. Then I found out flags that fly over the Capitol are easy to come by.

There was a flag store on Interline in Baton, Rouge. Maybe it's still there.

Harbor Freight’s got the embroidered flags for cheap (under $10 last time I checked) and the quality is pretty good.
