They also have 5" and 7" for people who don't want shorts past their knees.

Looked like you were saying you like short shorts from your response. Maybe I misinterpreted.

casual basic non-cargo khaki shorts..

Standups. 7" if you're cool, 5" if you're FAF and have a small dick.

I don't consider 9" inseams to be "short shorts." I even wear 7" on occasion and don't consider them to be "short shorts" either. I personally wouldn't go shorter than that. I consider 11" to be too long, but that's just a personal preference.

I wear 7" even though I have long legs. They definitely look like short shorts. Who the frick cares? If it's hot, and I'm wearing something comfortable and non-insular, why the frick would I want something that reaches me knees? Makes no sense.

Honestly, the Macy's cheap brand khaki shorts are very nice for under $20.

Peter Millar but I have to get them hemmed. For more casual/outdoor stuff I wear Mountain Khakis or Patagonia stretch baggies, the best shorts ever made.

I agree with this. I'm white, my dick ain't reaching the bottom of my shorts regardless.

5" could be iffy but if you're showing off at a 7" inseam then all power to you.

Get the Columbia omni-shades and never look back. They dry very fast which helps eliminate swamp arse
