Patagonia Standups (7 inch inseam)

I put my shorts through HEAVY wear and tear and these still last 3-4 years for me. Not bad at all for $50

They also have 5" and 7" for people who don't want shorts past their knees.

Not everyone stands below 5'6.

11" is about 2" above my knee. If I rocked 5" or 7" it would look silly.

Dude, are you a basketball player?

I'm 6'3" and 11" might be 2 inches above me knee when sitting down, maybe. 7"-8" is about right for me

The 9" jcrew shorts for whatever reason fell the right length for me even though 9" is usually long, but they're cut for really skinny people. Since I gained some size to my thighs they fit me very hipster looking now. Need to replace half of my shorts now

That was supposed to be a 9 not an 11. Either way, maybe I have oddly long legs for 5'11 and although I have never pulled out the tape measure, the 9" from J.Crew is close to 2" above my knee.

Ok that makes more sense
Those sit about 3-4" above my knee. Which is about right for me.

The 7" are probably a foot above my knee when I sit down. 37" inseam, FML

I just bought some from brooks brothers and they are of high quality. Perlis has a good selection as well.

Have bunches of Polo and Gap but I bought a bunch of Merona from Target last year for bumming around the house. Very similar to Gap at like $12-$20 a pair.

This makes so much sense now. I was wondering how this new company just popped up and was able to spend so damn much on advertising.

No idea. I order mine online, usually in winter. You can snatch them for about $30-35 at that point.
