Just hang out at Angola. Wait for an inmate to be released. It'll probably set you back about $10, a tall boy, and a pack of smokes.

Do it yourself.
Just get an angle grinder from Harbor Freight and enjoy the fireworks.

If your in the Metairie or slidell area, I recommend northshore/southshore clocks and knives. I think they do knife sharpening. Id call ahead. Hope that helps.

PSA

You can correct your "wrong" up or downvote.

If you accidentally vote the opposite of your intended vote, you can correct the wrong vote. Simply refresh the screen and revote the way you intended. If you refresh again, you'll see the incorrect vote taken off and the correct (your second choice) will be added to that vote total.

I can get my son to sharpen them for you at a reasonable price. I taught him well... when he was 8 years old.

I sure if you ask nicely he'd be glad to show you how it's done.

You need a machine to reshapen a dull blade. You can do regular touch ups with that honing thing but you can't resharpen it without machinery to rebuild the edge.

You are a goddamn pussy. I can sharpen a mild steel flat bar with a file and get it to shave. Now give me a dull knife and a stone and if you look at the blade it will cut your eye.
Whatever knife you carry is probably equivalent to a toenail clipper.

I'm pretty sure the person you just quoted is in fact a girl. Like a real, biological girl.

I mean, you're right about being able to sharpen without machinery. Otherwise how we're edge weapons sharp before the 19th century? But still, do you expect a girl to know that?

Roy's Knives and Archery, Columbia Street, Covington. $5.00 per.

... it's an adventure.

Might as well visit the Hardware store museum (Smith's) while you're there.

And go to the Covington Brewhouse for a few cold beers.

Not sure where you are but in New Orleans, you can take them to Coutelier on Oak. $1.25/inch for standard knives.
