I remember we decided that Keurig coffee sucks and a machine that grinds our beans and spits out a coffee is preferred. Mrs. Gee likes cold brew and I like a shot of espresso every now and then. Do any of you baws have a multi-function machine that has both options?

We like our Nespresso vertuo machine. With the side milk frother.
Can do cold brews and espresso shots and 7oz cups of hot coffee. All sorts of flavors and all. Works great and eliminated our Starbucks habit.

Best pod machine: nespresso
Best bean grinder: Baratza Virtuoso+ which can get you from cold-brew-big to espresso-small
I love my 50oz stainless French press (search that in Amazon. You’ll find a handful of the same device with a different stamp on it. Mine is not available apparently). It’s cheap enough you could even grab two and do one for your cold brew and one for hot, if you needed to use them concurrently.
Best machine to put the grinds into is a Mocca Master

I do not make espresso unless you count Nespresso. No recommendation there.

We also use the Nespresso Vertuo.

We're on our 4th one (They don't break, we both had them before we got married and then bought new models) and love it

Yep, Nespresso all the way.

You can buy a Toddy Coffee maker for Mrs Gee to make her cold brew. Inexpensive and really easy to brew.

Brew Express - tap into your ice maker water line and never trudge water across the room again. We love ours

My wife likes Nespresso. She has the fancy tastes with the flavored this that or the other.

I like drip coffee from an old Mr Coffee machine whose filter is stuffed to the brim with ground Community medium roast. Once it’s brewed it’s good to go.

I use a French Press daily while my wife alternates between the Keurig & the Nespresso machines.

Nespresso is better than Keurig, but French Press coffee is easy to make and the way to go imo.

I’ve noticed that now the pods can ge purchased at regular grocery stores like Brookshires and WMT. previously it was Dillards, BBB or Amazon.
I might buy one now

Have a Chemex that is great. No mess, no grinds making it to the coffee, no old water, no mechanical stuff to break.

Rinse it out a full wash once a week.

Get the one with a handle.
