We have a slight chance of severe weather tomorrow. Will have pockets of rain the next three days. As usual it won't be as bad as the weather people say.

They underestimate the weather just as often as they overestimate it. The system a few weeks ago is a great example - everyone in the thread said there is no way it will be that bad yada yada yada, and a week later I-10 is closed in different areas and a significant portion of the state floods.

i've always felt like "weathermen" are taking guesses in their predictions anyway, but it's humorous watching someone with little to no knowledge of the profession make predictions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.

If you could name two different types of clouds that would be more than I think.
