Another barista might return the favor. I'm sure the regular was a stuck up hipster kid and deserved it, but still.

Me too, but that's because I generally prefer no straw. Not because I'm paranoid about germs.

Just straight coffee for me. Not taking a chance some girl just got dumped and decides to take it out on my cappuccino.

Generally speaking, mass attacks via whole canisters are rare.

I take the lids in the front/top and move them to the middle , then select mine....

I also have a habit of looking in my cup after I fill it with ice ....

Dude I have no idea what you just said.

But I agree that prior restraint was roundly rejected.

What are you checking for? Bugs? Or is it part of a ritual?

I made it 45 years without bike helmets and such. Not saying some of the stuff doesn't help, but at some point you have to let kids be kids. I didn't get trophy's when I lost I got the drive to do better.

one time at burger king I looked in my cup after filling it with ice and it had a bunch of black specks of dirt or something on the ice...

I know there is a lot more that's dirtier in those places but its just been a habit ever since....

If the lids are bothering y'all don't ever look in the ice bin. It's a sludgy little bacteria playground. Idgaf though.

I can't wait until this stupid arse e-trend ends. I agree it was somewhat funny at 1st but now that it's gotten to this level, it's just a waste.

If you are anal about the lid you're picking, it has nothing on it compared to what's inside the ice bin/dispenser and in the nozzels of the drink dispensers.

Water breeds bacteria, and those things are rarely properly cleaned.

Pretty sure the chemicals in the non-natural coloring and flavoring in the slush puppy machine will neutralize any pathogens.

Or coffee, how many of us pick from the middle of the stack to avoid potential bugger finger contact? Is this a common behavior or should I expect to be urinating in milk bottles in a locked room soon?

WTF is wrong with you? I leave the board for almost 2 months and come back to this garbage thread at the top of the page? No wonder the admins let me out!
