I was thinking about this the other day. For me 25-35 went by in a flash. It's kind of scary actually. Memories from things I did at 25 seem like they happened last year.

After 50. Never enough hours in a day.

Seems like kids do the trick ultimately. Gets faster after college when you start consuming days at work, then throw in a kid and it is like living in fast forward.

Turbocharged after age 20.
Twin-turbocharged after age 30.

Was going to post this. Once you are out of school and working, living for the weekends makes the months fly by.

There is a theory on this that as one ages, each year becomes proportionally smaller to the total years. So when you are 5, one year is 1/5th of your life; when you are 30, 1 year is 1/30th, and so on. So as you age, the years become less significant as a portion of your total life, leading them to appear shorter.
That theory is called math. Pretty widely accepted nowadays

For me, childhood was as slow as molassis. Time didn't really seem to start moving until my '30s. But as my two children entered the picture, it has been nothing but a blur, and thats because of the fact that I have what seems like so little time with them after work. My son will be turning five soon and it seems like yesterday he was born - but what is sad, is that a lot of details of those early times fade so quickly. Hence the reason I don't mind giving up a lot of the things I did pre-kids...
Also, after ignoring the fact that my parents are getting older - the time I spend with them also seems to fly by.

I feel like I just put the Christmas stuff away everytime I drag it out after Turkey Day. That started happening in my mid-30's.

when you're happy and living life in the moment, time flies. When you're miserable, especially if you are living in the past, it drags.

LOL, wait till you hit your mid 40s.

For me, it has been the last four years of my life. Work 65 + hours and 6 days a week, while being away my wife and family three weeks out of the month.
On the bright side, it's better than the alternative, no job.

Its really flown by since I've been in college. Age 7 to 15 seems like it took the longest.
