I live in the City of Round-a-Bouts (Youngsville) and I straight up can't remember the last time it rained any significant amount here. Gotta' be a month. Anyone know for sure?

And what about where you are?

Craziest summer I ever remember. Entire time growing up it felt like we got rain damn near every afternoon around 3, just in time to potentially screw up whatever baseball game we had scheduled.

I have not had a measurable rainfall at my house in the month of August. Probably twice in the last 6 weeks.

According to NWS in Shreveport, the last measurable rain total we received was July 6th, which was 0.41 inches.

It's been rough.

Northssippi - about 7" of rain so far this month. Almost 3" above the August average.

I got flooded more times in the last 30 days than I have in the past 5 years.

July 8th, Katy, TX.

Was one cell about 3 weeks ago that tracked along I-10 but none at my house.

I think last time we got rain in Y-ville was July 17th. Before that it was July 12th and then before that it was June 21st. Pretty wild.

8/16 in Charlotte but the last real decent rain was 8/11. Definitely dry for August
