I am planning my trip and we will have a 11 month old with us. Do i really need to put child down if he will be sleeping in the pack and play we are bringing?

I don't understand why they need to know the number of people unless it is more than normal for a room.

What's the difference if I need a room for myself only or myself and my wife if I'm requesting a single king bed?

Has no impact on your daily rate. I have two children and don't indicate that I do when booking. It makes no difference.

Pretty sure branding children (11-month olds included) is highly illegal. You may want to just not do that.

I think they ask for potential noise complaints. If you have a baby, they will try to room you away from the middle aged business traveler.

Maybe its different when you have kids, but I've been putting 1 person when I really mean 2 for well over a decade without anyone ever mentioning it

I travel a lot and never tell them the number of people. Has never been a problem.

When you go over 2, they can charge you an extra fee at many hotels.

Never been an issue. Where y'all going bruh? Need me to go house-sit aka throw a crazy sex party while y'all gone?

They ask this so they can try to assign rooms to those with children away from the business travelers. Nobody wants to hear your baby screaming at night when they have to get up early for a meeting the next morning.

hell its a new one to me!!

Just wanted to make sure.

I actually was waiting for your post as it gives me confidence with traveling with a baby.

We are going to Asheville for a couple days then Blue Ridge, GA for a few days. We are staying at the Omni for a night then downtown Asheville for a couple nights before relaxing on the Toccoa River in Blue Ridge, GA
