What's your mortgage payment/rent vs monthly salary?

Seems like I meet a whole lot of people making a considerable amount less than me but living in much nicer homes. Granted, I save quite a bit per month but just curious what everyone's position is?

including mortgage, insurance and taxes

I'd be a little higher if I included that but I only pay insurance and tax once a year

re: What's your mortgage payment/rent vs monthly salary?
My mortgage payment including all taxes is roughly 19 percent of my gross. If you want to just look at P&I, it is only 12 percent of my monthly gross.

My wife is a stay-at-home mother. I'm the only one pulling a paycheck. We also have a 15-yr note at 3 1/8 percent.
