What's worse: Vehicle with no heat in the winter or no AC during summer?

As the cold temperatures begin I am gonna say no heater in the winter. I have prior experience with both. Nothing like sitting like a ice cube in a freezer driving to work

I agree. You can always roll the windows down to move the air around.

But sitting on your arse in the car trying to warm up is the worst.

When AC and Heaters are working in cars or buildings, I prefer hot weather climate.

When those things break, I'd rather it be cold and put on clothes to layer up with.

I've been in a car with no AC stuck in traffic with no wind.

Just the thought when I was about to get off work knowing I was gonna freeze my arse sucked back in the day. A cold beer and the windows down wasn't that bad.

Had both in Louisiana with one of my first cars. The AC was a necessity, got used to no heat.

No heat when it's cold is absolutely miserable.

No A/C when it's scorching, just roll down the window.

AC. Your body heat warms the car. You can wrap up and keep warm. The heat just continues worsening wth n AC.

And for those of you saying no AC is worse, please move north of the Mason Dixon line. In the winter, you wouldn't even be able to get your day started without plowing off snow and ice for 20 minutes before the heat in the car made this feasible. And once you're done doing this, you want to get in your car and warm up, but then of course you're still freezing your balls off. You freeze your nuts off all the way to work and pretty much want to kill yourself.

No AC, here's what you do. Roll down your windows and then drive. That's it. It's not perfect, but having a 50 mile an hour breeze hit you no matter how warm it is is better than suffering in a 10 degree freeze at all time and having to deal with the real life side effects of that.

No A/C by far. I have never driven a car that didn't ever have heat. I have owned a car that had no A/C on Southern California. I refused to bring it to Louisiana.

Hot air comes from the engine warming up and diverting some of the heat into the cabin. Unless your car runs on ice cubes I don't see how no heat is an option.

Now, if you mean no instant heat, then invest in a remote starter or a garage. Problem solved.

I lived in Colorado for 10 years with a soft top jeep. I think I'm qualified.

Well that's not the option here. You're either getting cold or hot air blown in your face. Personally, hot air from the outside is preferable. Cold air is only going to make the situation work. Air coming at you at 60 MPH cools you down no matter what.
