The best part of this thread are the poor whites that don't have the money to join the white flight into Livingston and Ascension Parishes. The poor people will always attack LP because they are doing things right and will stand up for what they believe in.

Does baton Rouge have white trash? What neighborhood do they live in? thought it was only middle and upper class whites there and white trash just come to shop, eat, tailgate or watch a movie. BR has more blacks, asian, and mexicans now>

I grew up in D'ville and went to an all white school until 1984. The white pool was not owned by the country club. I know in 1994 whites were still having "private party" for their prom. Hell, the police would stay in the parking lot to make sure we didn't get uninvited guests. Sometimes,a couple of blacks tried to come but police ran them off. At the doctors office they had to knock the wall down and make one big room so everyone had to seat together. Whites said on the right and blacks to left. I thought this was normal . Sad

I grew up there. It's not really white trash so much as uneducated Cajuns. There's a difference for me.
White trash sit around and collect welfare checks while living in trailer parks. Those Cajuns tend to be hard workers despite their lack of intelligence (I am obviously generalizing here, not all Cajuns are uneducated and stupid).
Go with somewhere in north Louisiana. The whole Alexandria area works for me.....
