There isn't a ton of practical reasoning that goes into the purchase of a luxury vehicle. That being said, there doesn't need to be either.

Drive a "luxury" car for 6 months, then go back. You'll see the difference.
Another thing to note is they aren't astronomically higher in price. Just went to a Mercedes dealership today. They want 60k-70k for an SUV. Chevy now wants damned near the same thing or more for similar features. And I'm not making the mistake of spending that money on a Tahoe again. Way too much shitty interior parts breaking on me for a 50k+ vehicle.

seriously. What was he trying to say with that post Of course financing gets people into nice cars. Most people aren't going to drop 60k cash, with good reason
