I love the spirit of it, but I can't help but feel like it's kind of trashy.

If Jesus isn't an LSU fan then I'm afraid we may have an issue.

We know satan is a gump. He's always wearing Crimson.

Can you really complain about people attending church these days?

I would guess that you would say that attending in trashy clothes is better than not attending at all.

BB or PM seem ok to me, especially for Saturday's. Maybe not Sunday. But that's just me.

I don't care if someone else does it.

I wouldn't do it myself.

100% acceptable in Louisiana.

I don't do it, but I don't have any decent LSU stuff. If I did, I'd probably wear it.

ETA: also acceptable to come severely hung over on Sunday's after LSU games if you're catholic.

Why do you care what other people wear to church? Why not just worry about yourself and let everyone else wear what makes them happy.

I dress nice for church, but it's really come as you are nowadays. I can take the LSU gear way more than all the Saints shite every freaking Sunday in the fall.

It's trashy, but not surprising considering a significant portion of our fan base.

It's funny how every time I drive by some church in the hood I see their congregation dressed in their nicest suits, but the upper middle class can't be bothered to put on something nicer than cargo shorts and jerseys

Do you really drive by churches on Sunday mornings in various neighborhoods to observe the congregants' attire?

Depends on the church. The church I go to is very, very casual. Summertime, guys where shorts, flip flops and ball caps all the time. We meet at the Shreveport Convention Center. Come one..come all, our pastor just wants people to show up...breaks down all the barriers that keep a lot of people out of the church.

He just said every time he drives by, not that he drives by every Sunday.
