My daughter is about to make 11 and she still believes. I suspect though that this is the last year.

You're a dick for letting it go this far.
Do you enjoy lying to your kids?

It's a slippery slope in parenting when you deal with Santa. Either you don't allow your kid to experience the "magic", and are vilified by your parent buddies or you tell junior a bunch of lies that eventually get exposed. My oldest was crushed when he found out and I'm really not looking forward to the day when my girls figure it out.

Once the kid is about eight, they almost certainly know but the smarter ones keep their mouths shut to milk the process for a couple of more years.
Once the kid hits double digits, I would guess the parents would have the talk for their own peace of mind, if nothing else.

I know a couple of mentally handicapped (to the extent of still having to live with their parents) people in their 20s who still believe.
Aside from that, a girl I was friends with didn't find out until 4th or 5th grade.

When I was a kid I knew many who believed until 10 years old. It just never came up much at school. My daughter's friends still believe as well, at least the ones she's closest to.

Your response is so over the top that you are clearly an insignificant moron who relishes the opportunity to jump on anyone that you believe to be vulnerable to your stupidity and sorry-assed insults. I'm not because I'm better than you, more productive than you, more respected in the real world than you, you worthless piece of underachieving excrement.

Just saying.

My nephew is 12 and he still believes in Santa and I don't see that changing any time soon. But he's autistic and tries to get everyone to call him Spiderman so

I found out in kindergarten because some kids told me at school, happened to be that was the only year I went to public school . My youngest brother didn't find out til he was 11 when my mom forgot to put the Easter baskets out.

Her parents are probably assholes if they let it get that obscenely far if she's not retarded or something. They should've told her when she was like 7 or 8. That's about as far as I would go with kids of my own.

Why would you tell them?! Let them find out on their own. I didn't find out until 5th grade when my best friend told me she found all her presents in her mom's closet. I was devastated!.

13 my oldest son still believed but we had a family friend that looked like saint nick and would visit us every Christmas just to keep him believing. He eventually found out.

I remember one friend of mine believed in the 5th grade, and that's the longest I've ever heard.
