An emergency C-section in the ER on a woman who had just died from injuries sustained in a MVA to try and save the baby. Luckily, I was trained in obstetrics. Most ER docs are not. Not sure how the kid turned out long term. It was pretty intense. I'd done hundreds of sections at that time, but not anything close to that.
