They are a bit rubbery but edible.

You mean my low fuel light that looks like a gas pump? Yes, there's a hose on the right of the pump.

But my gas tank door is on the left/drivers side.

Every vehicle I've looked at lately has a arrow or a "FUEL DOOR ----->" indication on the fuel gauge.

What model do you have?

I must admit, I didn't know that there was an arrow on the fuel gauge on most cars that tells you which side of the car to fill it with until recently.

I didn't either.

I recently bought a car. My brother was with me when I went to get gas. I pulled up with the drivers side next to the pump, like it was in my other car, forgetting that the gas tank in my new car is on the passengers side. My brother showed me that little arrow and I was amazed that I had never noticed that before, and I've been driving for 20 years.

I was going to post the gas arrow thing. I was test driving a car a few minutes ago and the guy mentioned the arrow. We laughed at home many people didn't know this.

1998 Toyota Landcruiser

Market research must be saying that Landcruiser buyers can find their own damn fuel doors without assistance

I wonder how many people reading this thread have went to look in their car to see if it has an arrow.

I didn't know this either until a few years ago. Thankfully, I didn't find out the hard way.
