A salesman is a salesman, no matter what the product or service. The most succesfull are married to their craft with Saturdays and long hours. Some can make it very rewarding and some will make it ruin their personal lives. Care sales is a great way to cut your teeth on inside sales.

Horrible.
90% of salesmen make less than 40k. Hours are ridiculous, the dealership gouges the paycheck just as much as the customers. BTW, customers suck for the most part. You think salesmen lie? They have nothing on customers.
It's better at like a Suburu, BMW, VW type place, but it sucks arse at anything else.
I sold cars for over a year. It sucked.
