quote:
The tension in the movie theatre you could cut with a knife, blacks were quiet af and constantly looking over there shoulders in the theatre at white people....during a scene a black woman stood up and said F... WHITE PEOPLE and walked out during a scene where all the whites wanted to kill the black man.... White people probably felt like they was being put in movie purgatory to pay for making Africans into slaves...
...a movie about crazy white people with a long history of killing blacks into a horror flick is nothing more than what?
It has already been well established that this movie is not a race baiting movie. The only people who are still saying this are the people who have not seen it and just keep spewing out garbage without knowing what they are talking about.
The movie is very well received by all markets and audiences. Even those on the right have admitted to judging it wrong.

So if I made a movie with roles reversed it wouldn't get backlash? bullshite.

I saw the movie with gf and my youngest son. The movie theater was about 50/50 black and white. This movie was well done and had enough comedy elements in it to bypass the racial undertones in it. The TSA friend was great and the acting in it was really good. In this time of racial divide people need to realize this is just a MOVIE and not a media firestorm.

im actually writing a screenplay at the moment. hoping it gets picked up because its original and thought provoking. not white people stealing blacks bodies
also: I like Peele and think he has tons of talent but this quote is pretty rediculous
quote:
“For while when we had a black president, we were living in this post-racial lie,” he added. “The idea of, ‘We’re past it – we’re past it all!’ For me, and for many people out there – as all black people know – there’s racism. I experience it on an everyday basis. This movie was meant to reveal that there’s this monster of racism lurking underneath some of these seemingly innocent conversations and situations.”
bullshite...
