That makes sense. It looks like I have quite a few options to achieve my goal.

It wasn't the first, but was perhaps the most memorable.

I wouldn't know. Most of my friends adopt shelter dogs that worthless trash abandoned

The few who don't go spca route get some sort of doodle. Goto Audubon Park around 5 on a weekday - it's a doodle convention.

Get you a Doberman. Mine is half Doberman/ half lab and is literally the single best dog that had ever existed... but a shallow a-hole like you that thinks dogs are status symbols probably wants a purebred, so get a Doberman.

You're right, absolutely needs to be a purebred. No way in heck I'm going to show my face walking a mutt around the block. I don't think any of my neighbors have any sort of mixed breeds

Bouvier

They are awesome dogs, too good to go to someone who wants a "status" dog. The coat is high maintenance, but they are loyal and will defend their family. They are also great with kids.

If I lived in Montana where the climate was cooler, I'd have a Bouvier.

Was this a subtle dig? I will treat the dog well, just want something that says "ya he's made it"

I live in Montana and have an 8 year old boxador, a 4 year old shepherd mix rescue, and an adopted 18 month old chocolate lab.

It ain't easy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Montana is an incredible home for dogs. I believe we have the highest average dog lifespan in the states.

I told a friend that if I hit the lottery, I'd move to Montana. His response was "well, you'd probably want to rent first, you might not like it."

I've never known anyone from Louisiana who went to Montana, then said "gee, I want to go back to Louisiana" (other than to visit).

I like where you started, but then the gold chains and shoes just make it gauche.
