Go west on I-12

...350miles to Guadalajara on I-10 West in Houston.

If that is not an option. La Caret's on HWY 21 in Covington is so so. Otherwise, repeat step 1.

Georges is my personal favorite on service road down from Favio's, mimamacitas in õ mandeville is good and I heard Tom Fitzmoris likes some place on 59 near the white elephant but have yet to try it.

The Northshore is not a great place for Mexican food. The fish tacos at Sombreros aren't bad though.

Mi Mamacitas is delicious, its really "New Mexican" food though, lots of green chilis and what not, I dig it.

eta: on Florida by the trace tunnel in Mandeville
