Can't complain, thanks for asking. We have a hearing coming up in February about the constitutionality of convictions with only 10/12 jurors, which is only legal in LA and Oregon. The defense attorney is using our case as his platform to challenge that issue, which pisses me off, but this isn't the time or place. I might make a thread about it at some point.

My whole family witnessed a ghetto fight last night where a woman just started wailing on another woman in a neighborhood I was in visiting. I was in the car with my kids. Mrs Pimp was shocked . My 13 year old daughter said "Wow Mom, you have no clue do you?". I mean, this is the new normal.

Stevenson is better than 99% of private high schools. It is a great school academically in a wealthy neighborhood.

I'm not sure it's that high, but if the information on the video is correct, then he's right about that being at a great school. Stevenson is probably the second-best public school in the Chicagoland area and one of the better public high schools in the U.S.
They send loads and loads of kids to the Ivies, Little Ivies, Notre Dame, Northwestern, U Chicago, Duke, Vandy, etc, not to mention a huge amount to all the Big Ten schools.
I guess stuff like this will happen when you have 4,000+ kids in one high school.

first reaction as a parent, and I know times have changed, I got caught in an untenable position once as a kid, got jumped by 2-3 healthy guys, held my own until relief arrived but still took a pretty good beating, couldn't hide it from my parents and they wanted to go to war, back then I begged for them to let me handle it

The old bus lady should have at least shielded the girl. That old tub of lard should be canned immediately. If you are unable to protect an innocent student riding on YOUR bus, you are not qualified to do the job.
If I were the parent id sue the school/district for negligence. They obviously didnt hire qualified drivers and didnt train them properly to deal with this.
