What would impress you more? Superbowl ring or Olympic gold medal?

Not saying the owner of the ring was even a starter, or saw any game action (although that may not matter to some).
What would you hold in higher regard?

Unless you're an idiot the answer is gold medal.

Depends on the sport. Track&Field, swimming, etc, gold medal would impress me. Rhythhmic gymnastics, not so much.

Super Bowl ring. The Olympics are outdated and have just become a big waste of money and drain on world economy's esp now that most sports are international anyways. They need to do away with them

Some specifics have to be answered to give a definitive answer but on the whole gold medal for sure.

Because Rhythhmic gymnastics is so easy to win a gold medal anyone could do it.
Gold Medal is a Gold medal.....shows you were best in the world.

you're competing against the entire world, not on a yearly basis, and there are an extremely limited amount of gold medals given at the time.
Compared to competing against 1 league that is only in 1 country, that happens every year, where over 100 people get a ring.
Don't be dense.

Well one means you're a World Champion and the other means you're a "World" Champion.

Gold medal, come on man. Every practice squad jackass on the team gets a Super Bowl ring, plus staff people.

Pretty much sums it up.

It's still gold medal for me, but it's closer than others have made it seem.
Any guy that has a super bowl ring would have an Olympic gold medal assuming he earned it (I.e. Wasn't the ball boy or 3rd string punter). NFL football players are the best at the world at their craft just like Olympic gold medal winners.
But Olympics are every 4 years, so you have to be the best at the right time.

Gold medal, especially if in a solo sport.

That's how I feel too.
Listening to a drunk at this bar go off on how a gold medal isn't shite lol
Wondering how the OT felt on the subject.

Superbowl ring if I'm a starter, means I make great money. Olympic athletes make their money from sponsors so it really depends on the sport, someone in archery is not going to make the money someone in swimming, track & field, etc would make.

Easy super bowl and it's not even close. Reason why is Olympics are a joke.

I'd be impressed with a major super bowl contributor, but being a third stringer who never played isn't very impressive.
