College sweethearts. After graduation, I realized that I did not want to live the rest of my life in that college town. It was their hometown; parents and siblings have all built their lives there, as did my former love. I moved back to my hometown, and have enjoyed my life here. We are both happy with the choices that were made, and are on friendly terms.

she had a basketball scholarship to the local DII school and we were going to move forward but she ended up going to a religious NAIA school instead and didn't want a long distance relationship.

After 4 years of dating, she quit taking her meds for good, gradually went manic, and cheated on me before asking if I was cool with an open relationship. I very much wasn't, and I told her to go frick herself.

After a few months of hoeing around and randomly contacting me to tell me a bunch of manic nonsense, she became a "lesbian," and now she's trans. The betrayal hurt a lot, but I dodged a hydrogen bomb in the grand scheme of things. Bonus lol at her rich, very conservative family who always thought she could do better than me. Bet your daughter chopping her tits off and marrying an mtf wasn't on your bingo cards, mfs.

It was the summer I was in the fourth grade. I lost her to Jeff Speed who pitched for Barfield Hardware. I was only an outfielder and had a good arm, but he had accuracy. We hit about the same, but it wasn't enough, and he won Sweet Rita that summer of baseball groupies.

Sweet Rita was nice a real catch among 10 year old women and at first it was difficult, but I had pretty much forgotten her by the time we hit the eighth grade. It was best because her family moved half way through the sixth grade.

Jeff probably took it better than me and quickly moved on to other women when she moved to Tulsa. He never made it past High School Ball. Elbow damage from pushing his fast ball too much I think. I ran into him at a golf tournament a few years back and we had fun talking about baseball over beers. He was a lousy golf player. Had a slice that killed his game.

Financial irresponsibility. Ended up marrying and divorcing a woman that spent even more money on the regular than I though was possible. The girl I broke up with wanted to buy a new car (25k?) and a party barge after graduation. Ex wife... Holy shite, almost logarithmically worse.

Before I did get married I lived with my end of college/start of life girlfriend. She was great and we had a great relationship. Oddly enough we just grew apart. Seemed like we just took to long to move on.
