Grew up in Central and live in Central. Have lived extended periods in Eastern and Chinese time zone. Yes China, despite being wider than than the Continental US, has only 1 time zone.

Born and raised in Pacific and transplanted to Central time zone. The weather and food are the advantages and disadvantages.

I live in that +8 on the international map. It's 13/14 hours ahead of Central Time. I get up at odd hours to watch sports all the time. I kind of like that I'm not missing anything during my evenings, and then there are games at breakfast time . CBS afternoon game took on a new level of suck though.

When you visit the central time zone, do you hate going back on Eastern for TV shows/games?

And she can eat corn on the cob like a boss.

Central / Pacific

Love being able to get up fairly early on fall weekends, have breakfast and there's football. Watch all day and still be able to get a full night's sleep.

The drawback: if you're a fan of European soccer leagues, some games can start at 4:30 AM. I'm not THAT dedicated.

Games start around 8:00a here. Late game usually ends around 9-9:30. It's awesome.

My sister in law lives in Hawaii, which doesn't recognize DST. Early season college games start at 6AM there. Too damn early for my tastes.

9/10AM work perfect for me. Gives me time to sleep a little late, get up, have breakfast and put in a bet or two if needed.

Born in Central.

Currently work in Pacific (Mon- Thurs) & live in Eastern (Fri-Sun).

Throw on top of that UTC+3:00 (East Africa)

My time zone app on my phone is a life saver.
