Sort of a spinoff of the daily routine thread. I saw someone puts their kids to bed at 7. And I feel bad for putting my kids to bed for 8!

School is coming up (Aug. 15th) and we are in the process of getting them into their routines. I have a 7 year old heading to the 2nd grade. A 4 year old heading to Pre-K.

7 year old: 830
4 year old: 800

That was me

Bed by 7. But both my girls are up before 6 am. They need their sleep or they are little balls of attitude.

So are they grown up or are you just a bad parent?

3 & 4 Year old: 7:30-8:00

We pull them out of bed at 6am on weekdays so we have to.

Sucks on Saturday morning when they are ready to rock and roll at 6 AM though

My two year old has bath time at 7:00 and usually putting him in bed at 7:30. We will start increasing his bed time in preparation for the time change.

This.

We have friends and family raise an eyebrow when they find out when we put our kids to bed, but we need those couple of kid free hours at the end of the day. Even if it's just kicking back with netflix. Momma needs it especially since she's home all day with them. Nights when we are fighting bedtime till 9:30 are torture for her.
