What this world needs is a good plumber. Any OT referrals?

I’m looking for a plumber to fix a clog in a gas line that another plumber created when he “fixed” a leak in my gas line. His way of “fixing” the leak was to install a coupling and then blow the mud that seeped into the line when he repaired it out towards the fire pit. When he did that, he must have clogged up the valve in the fire pit and now it no longer works (where it did before he fixed the leak). This plumber refuses to fix the problem because he is “too busy with car washes”. I tried for months to get him out to fix it but my guess is he doesn’t know how to fix it thus is avoiding it. Can the OT recommend a good plumber that can remove dirt/mud clogging a valve at a fire pit?
In the Baton Rouge area.

American Plumbing fixed my leak in my slab. They were even very helpful after the work was done to get some additional paperwork I needed to file my home insurance claim. I'd highly recommend them.

Why don't you fix it yourself? I had the same thing happen, except it was the gas AND water lines. Ended up replacing all of the toilet valves, cleaning out the screens on the faucets, and cleaning out the gas regulator.

You don't need a plumber to fix that. Pretty much any handyman should be able to fix that for you. Give
"Brad's The Handyman Can" a call. Located in Shenandoah and others on the board had used him for small jobs like you mentioned. Google it as I don't want to post his info here.

I appreciate the handyman referral and the "why don't you do it yourself" suggestion, but I am not a fan of messing around when it comes to gas and open flames. I want to make sure it is 100% done right. I think I'll stick with a licensed plumber on this one.
