Go to a Nola/BR Canes or Chickafila and tell me if your experience is the same. k thx bye

You literally picked the only two restaurants that I didn't notice a difference. Cfa or cains in Metairie or Elmwood was no different than anywhere else.

But I have never dealt with ruder cashiers than in Nola. It's the only place I've made transactions, where the only words exchanged was what I owed. No hi out anything, just "$5.91", and usually no eye contact.

If you live in a part of the country that has QT gas stations...you HAVE to go there at least once.

TRUTH. QT is the bomb. Not just the friendliness. They're fast and have a huge selection of fresh foods. Even have a made-to-order hot foods kitchen in most of them now. They put Racetrac and 7-11 to shame.

I doubt Mcdonalds employees are comparable to CFA employees anywhere.

But I certainly buy the idea that there are parts of the country where the average McDonalds employee, who is illiterate, doesn't treat you with total contempt.

We stopped at sonic by LSU the night we beat auburn 2 years ago and there was no one there but it still took 30 minutes to get a breakfast burrito and when my y friend discovered it was not the super sonic and missing the jalapeños he complained and the worker walked out.. Said 'you already eaten half of it' then walked back in and refused to answer any future requests. He wanted to go in and fight them and I just said it's not worth it let's just leave.

there are ghetto places in NOLA and BR that will show you tons of respect. Mom and Pop stores and lunch counters.

Absolutely there are. But it's all or nothing over there. They're either very kind, or straight up assholes. And it's not just in ghetto places, it's the entire area, good or bad.

I've been to ghettos all over this country and honestly have never had a problem in any of them other than a homeless or two asking for money.

1. Are you black?
2. Did you walk down the sidewalks at night?
