I cleared a four year old trash pile out this weekend and holy shite all manor of spiders were in this thing. I counted about twenty brown recluses, about 8 black widows, and an entire laundry list of other things I was to scared to tangle with.

I just ignored my fears, put gloves on, taped up my pants and went to town clearing it. Trust me I was scared as I hate spiders.

I do think a small mole was also running around.

Aren't banana spiders very venomous but their fangs are too small to puncture human skin or some shite?

I love when people say they keep spiders alive because they "keep the bugs away". You realize that spider is probably taking out .00000000000001% of the bugs on your property? Not saying you should kill it but that's stupid logic

I'll probably catch a little flack for this but you should just leave the little guy/girl alone. Granted, they don't eat that many bugs, but that type of insect will never harm you. If it were poisonous, I would understand, but it's not.

I never really understood the fear of "creepy crawlies" like spiders and snakes in general. Then again, when I was a kid I was fascinated and intrigued by insects so I'll never truly understand the mindset.

If he's out of the way, leave him alone, I do.

Now, last night I was talking the dog out before bed and I see a brown widow. I grabbed the spray and flashlight and ending up killing 6 females, many males or spiderlings; and found 7-8 egg sacs. The girl hates spiders and hates that I leave them be. Last night I seriously thought about burning the place down and moving

Banana spider. How have you gone thorough life without seeing one of those until now?

The web is extremely strong and extremely sticky. If you walk through one you'll be pulling that crap off of yourself for a while.

You're thinking of the wolf spider. Banana spiders are the really thin, long legged ones with a tiny little dark colored round body.

"Banana" spiders are not thin by any means; slender in abdomen but compared to other arachnids they are considered thick.

I believe you are thinking about pholcids aka Daddy Long Legs or harvestmen. They actually aren't even in the spider family nor are they potentially poisonous to humans regardless of their "fang" size.

That's a good spider. Let that one into your bedroom and you'll never see another spider again
