re: Scientists reverse brain damage in drowned U.S. toddler (LSU related) - pngtiger on 7/20/17 at 6:59 pm

re: Weight loss surgery? - pngtiger on 7/6/17 at 9:56 pm
Don't do the band, or the new mangnetic rings. It's a foreign body that can erode, and if it does, it's a major problem. Also, it's easy to "beat it" by drinking your calories, which many do. It takes adjustments regularly (first to get it just right, almost to obstruction, then more and more as/if ...

re: Turn: Washington's Spies and interesting history - pngtiger on 7/4/17 at 10:04 am
Just told my wife about what you said about Simcoe. She said, "so you're telling me he doesn't get killed?" Agree that every season has been better than the last. Abe's temper gets him in trouble, much like Arnold. ...

Turn: Washington's Spies and interesting history - pngtiger on 7/3/17 at 10:27 pm
Been binge watching this show. Have really enjoyed it. As with all "historical" tv series/movies, I research it to see how accurate they are. I came across some interesting info; the great-grandfather of Benedict Arnold had many kids, whose descendants include: George H W, George W, and Jeb Bush ...

re: Laparoscopic Appendectomy - Side Effects and Recovery Time - your experience - pngtiger on 6/30/17 at 6:37 am
It's normal. Usually takes 3-5 days. As long as you're passing gas you're fine. And it sounds like you're on the normal course for pain. Day after you usually feel like you got run over. By day 3 or 4, you feel like you can get back to normal stuff, but tire easily ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Tell me about the Opening Ceremonies for the CWS - pngtiger on 6/15/17 at 7:58 pm
They're kind of meh. Fireworks were cool. Year I went, we caught the teams intro, the smash mouth started to play so we left. Went to a bar across the street, saw a guy wearing a 1987 Nebraska sugar bowl shirt. I said yo him y'all killed us that game, that was my first bowl game with my dad. We ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

re: Single payer: better care for less cost?: It's not so easy - pngtiger on 5/13/17 at 1:16 am
quote: its not just that. in some European countries MDs do not have any college debt when they start practice. College debt isn't a major cost driver in our healthcare system.
In addition, physician reimbursement is only 8% of total healthcare expenditures. So, by cutting pay say ...

re: And the intestinal fortitude award goes to ... Tarsha Amar-Clark, Exec. Director EBRCOA - pngtiger on 5/3/17 at 10:00 pm
says the PAC changed its campaign finance reports to reflect individual donations from COA employees rather than as a donation from the agency as a whole.
Is this voluntary or compulsary? Even if voluntary, I see a huge conflict if it is coming out of the employee's paychecks. And ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
LSU should not be about tweaking and tinkering lineups, LSU should be about fired up excitement and motivation. re: Why can't you rent a car with a manual transmission? - pngtiger on 4/13/17 at 10:21 am
I was looking at jeeps at one point, and couldn't believe it was so hard to find a manual. I also looked at the m series Bmw's and to get a manual, I would have to special order it. They said, "you will have paddle shifters or the steptronic shifter". explained the whole reason I was looking at that...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

re: OT Medicos: right side testicle pain, sickness to stomach - pngtiger on 3/29/17 at 12:18 pm
Testicular torsion, or hernia (but the testicle doesn't usually ride high with a hernia). The episodic nature sounds like it Torses and untorses. The pain in the stomach is because the testicles (and ovaries) developed around the kidney, then descend down before birth. So the innervation would b...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Candle burners of the OT, what's your favorite candle? - pngtiger on 3/6/17 at 12:56 am
Like the jasmine and patchouli too, used to burn these a lot (and had the oil with whacks). Lately, got the huge French oak candle from restoration hardware. It took a year to burn the first one, which for the cost was good. Have tried finding something similar elsewhere and for cheaper, but no ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
