if 2 kids can leave the cycle of foster homes but the people need some help im fine with that

I adopted a child twenty years ago. It was 25k then. (Part of that was hospital bills that Medicaid would have covered, but that i insisted on paying myself.). Best money I ever spent.
And by the way, sometimes you can spend all that money and NOT get a child.
All told, between adoption and infertility treatments, I've dropped more than 100k. Paid every cent of it myself and never regretted it. And I earned every cent of it my own damn self through hard work (and frick you if you think that phrase is a microaggression).
But if someone I know started a gofundme for the same purpose, I'd contribute generously.

Foster adoptions are very difficult.

Much respect for you for wanting something and working to get it.

Don't get me started on the bucket kids on Earhart and Carrollton.
Wonderful parents sitting in a chair texting while their young kids wander in and out of traffic on both sides of the thoroughfare.

it's so much easier to spend someone elses money

Agreed. Could be saving us money in taxes by not having the state support them financially
And maybe even money that would go toward housing them in jail if they grow up without parents loving them and teaching them to be a decent human being
