It doesn't take supreme logic to see the lunacy of the religious responses in this thread. We can't predict what will end our times but, we have a pretty good idea of the types of things that would do it. None of them include trumpets in the sky.

Sure nothing "logical" tells us that. Unless of course you see the word of God as logical. Personally I do.
I'm fairly educated myself, and I think I have a good understanding of what happens to people like us.
The more "educated" one becomes, the harder it is for them to have faith in Christ. It's a form of self-worship that I'm guilty of myself.
