What is the purpose of timed test for purposes of promotions or anything really?

When you say your current job has no time stipulation, do you mean that if a problem were to arise that fixing it immediately would yield the same result as fixing it in a week?

Companies don't want to give promotions (surprise), so they throw bullshite obstacles in there to deter people. If you were black or a woman, you'd have been given the promotion already.

So if it takes you a year to solve a problem that your coworker can solve in an hour your supervisor would think everything is cool?? I doubt that.

Bruh, you have to make decisions during pressure situations. Grow some balls or stay at the position you are on.

That's a lot of tasks for the fry station.

I take offense to that I am on the frosties and customer service side.

Damn that is great info I wish I had seen this reply before the test. Makes sense. It has been 7 years since I had taken a test like that.

I just went on a job interview where the day went like this:

Got there at 8:45 am.
Test starts at 9 am. The test lasts 3 hours.
5 sections. Each section is timed. Average of 31 questions for 15 minutes.
One section was a written essay and another section was on Excel.

Then, the company provided lunch. They let me know after lunch if I passed the test to start with the interview process. (I passed)

I had 3 different interviews:
First one I met with 2 managers.
2nd interview was a peer interview.
3rd was an interview with a hiring manager.

The whole process lasted all day.

Bud did you finish all questions on the timed sections?
