Like the Californian meaning of righteous, or the Christian meaning?

I've volunteered at a food bank just for the hell of it . I don't know if it's the most righteous thing I've done but it's the most recent.

I don't keep track of it all. It's just the way I am.

I wouldn't objectify her by calling her a "thing" but she was truly righteous.
She was from San Diego County.

Listened to the Righteous Brothers

I had been dating a girl for just over a year, we were mid 20's. I wasn't close to proposing or anything, but it was serious enough that we had decided to move in together and I genuinely cared for her a good deal. She was smart, pretty, enjoyable to be around. Well, after about two months of living together her friend asked me to lunch, nothing unusual since we were friends too and worked in nearby office buildings at the time and had met up for lunch on many different occasions. So I met her and she said I deserved to know, even though my gf was "torn up" about it and racked with guilt.
Apparently when she flew home to visit her family over the holidays, she and her girlfriends that she grew up with decide to go out. Everyone was drinking and having a good time, and then at some point during the night my girlfriend ran into a guy she used to date back in high school that still lived in town. They ended up going back to his place.
So, I went back to work after lunch, worked the rest of the day, left around 5:30-6 and drove home to confront her. When I got home she was there, and I simply asked if it was true, she said it was...
I said nothing in response, I packed up all of my clothes and personal items I cared about. She was tearfully apologizing and wanting to talk this whole time, I said nothing to her. I continued to pack up my shite, took about 20-30 minutes, loaded up my car and drove away. I've never seen her or spoke to her since.
That felt fairly righteous.

Did you know they weren't really brothers? I feel like that's grounds for a class action lawsuit.

I was eating at Chillis on a date, the table next to us was a bunch of high school kids. The ended up stiffing the waiter by dining and dashing on the bill. So I included an extra tip for him, basically the cost of their meal in my tip. Felt bad for him because he was a good server, just had a shitty table.

I bet she thinks about it every day just because of how well you handled it. Bravo.
