Are you my dad?

I have never drawn a line in anger(that's how old my CivE is,) , my Dad kind of pushed me into that. Had I known what I was going to end up doing, I'd have picked the easiest major I could have pieced together. But as I recall, the CivE discipline wasn't exactly a pushover when I went through.

My dad's degree is in drafting and design I believe. He's been doing it since 1992.

More power to those guys, they do important things. A HS buddy of mine bought out the engineering firm that we both interned with while in school, he's doing just fine. I just took a different road.

Weird thing is, I can't do math to save my life.

Wish I had gotten that trait instead of his eyesight.

3.5

I got a C in two Spanish classes because I NEVER EVER EVER studied. I was going to school 15 hours, working 40 hours...and I had a young child and wife (still do). I ran out of time to study and time for an assignment or two...

I will take the 3.5!

I went to a good high school, but tried to play the part of Mr. stud, jock, pusshound, instead of getting a solid m/s background, and when I got to LSU, I had to play a bit of catch up(but it didn't take long to ease back into my wayward ways)

I don't. Like I said, I never studied outside of the class. I had too much happening at once. A 3.5 is very good though...right?

Lulz. Most OT Ballers have a 4.2 and have doctorates in every engineering field imaginable. Except Civil "engineering" because it's not really engineering.

I thought it was industrial engineering that was frowned upon by OT engine ears.

They're just like anyone else. Improper grammar, spelling errors, etc.
