The company isn’t going to be loyal to you so don’t feel the need to be loyal to the company.

The Lord loves a working man. Don't trust Whitie. See a doctor and get rid of it.

This is been mentioned quite a few times, I guess I’m just lucky, at least I believe my company has been loyal to me for 2 decades

Some linked items:

Resist your impulses. Develop the habit of coolly making effective decisions without giving in to a lot of drama.

Have three plans readily in mind.
1. Best case scenario.
2. Worst case scenario
3. Most likely scenario.
When it happens, select the appropriate one.

Never ever date someone in the workplace and don’t go out partying with coworkers.

“If someone emails you, always dignify it with a response (even if the response is simple). Someone took the time to engage you and they deserve the same courtesy in return. Many people lack communication skills and this is a great way to stand out.”

Always walk with a sense of purpose and have three things you can tell the boss if he asks you “what are you working on”.

You’re stressing out about shite you can’t control. A week after you or I retire, they’ll have another dancing chicken in here filling our positions. Let that shite go.

About 20 years ago my boss told me he'd rather me make decisions and occasionally be wrong instead asking him how to handle everything. Come to find out thats who gets paid in business...good decision makers.
