“If you can’t persuade them with proof, baffle them with bullshite”

Lived my entire 40 yr career by that quote and it’s never steered me wrong.

If you can’t cut the mustard you, can always lick the jar.

For when you get older and stuff always doesn’t work.

From the movie this is 40 when graham Parker gives paul Rudds character business advice.

“The trick is having a small nut to crack”.

I’m currently downsizing my entire existence in an effort to make that happen while also going to school to advance my career, or at least give myself more bargaining power at my current company.

'You can only change the changeables, Sao.'

Which simply means find out which situations you can and cannot impact and spend time and effort accordingly.

Our Sr VP gave me this solicited advice when I was hired about his key to success.

I didn't make it to the top stepping on the backs of those around me. Doing it the right way makes it more enjoyable and people respect you for it.

Treat everyone who works under you like a king or a queen and everyone who works above you like s***t.

So far, that advice has worked out 100% of the time for me. It may be why my bosses are afraid of me

A successful cajun restauranteur told me about opening a biz some advice his father told him:
“Work your arse off for 3 years. Days, nights, weekends, etc. After three years, step back, analyze what works, and spend your efforts there.”

Also, “failure fails fast”, meaning fire with quickness.

I have began 2.5 small businesses built on those mottos. Just opened an hvac co last week.
