In destin couple years ago and some random couple comes up to us at Winn Dixie and tells my wife and I what great parents we are and what a great job we doing bc they heard my little girl being polite and saying yes sir and no mam.

Little weird at first but then I was like of course that just happened..I'm the shite.
I'm TLEE.

Older couple at a restaurant told me and my wife we had the most well behaved and polite kids they had seen in a long time.

bidding wars are great and all, but nothing beats being told your internet personality is funny when in actuality you know it's really pretty hit or miss.

This woman told me "thank you for making my fantasy come true"

Someone said I was not nearly as ugly as they heard I was. Does that count?

I went to small liberal arts school, and we were playing a rival in soccer. There was a fight in the game and things got pretty heated. We taunted their players (albeit with some wit). One of their fans got up in our face and told us "yall are the most classless smart kids ever, it really is sad."

I've never been more touched than when he went out of his way to call us smart.
