Soft foods and snacks - Jello, soups, etc. I had all 4 of mine pulled at the same time and was down for the count for a few days. That shite hurt.

A good freebase spoon for when she gets addicted to pain pills and wants to start shooting.

Actually a lot of people do. Since wisdom teeth generally erupt around college-age, and most people who get them removed do so because they are having trouble with them, they schedule during one of the two major breaks - Christmas or summer. And if they've been bothering the hell out of you in Oct. or Nov., you're not waiting til the summer.

Gotcha. Makes sense. I got really lucky with mine. I was 24 when I got mine out. Only had 2 on upper jaw that were impacted (didn't have wisdom teeth on bottom jaw). Prescribed valium the night before and morning of procedure. IV sedation and oral surgeon. Never had any pain or issues after. Took my pain pills every 4-6 hours until they ran out.

Okay, well, uh... candlesticks always make a nice gift, and uh, maybe you could find out where she's registered and maybe a place-setting or maybe a silverware pattern.
