For other than OEM stuff, I've had great luck with AutoAnything....I constantly get 10%-20% off emails.

It's a compromise deal.
You want a softer pad compound for less noise, but they make more dust. Also the softer compounds are "sacrificial" thus rotors don't get scarred up so much.

I used ProAct Ultra Premium Ceramic Brake Pads (from Advance Auto) the last time.
Really like them
Very quiet and clean. Cost a little more... I think front pads were like $100. I also replaced the rotors at the same time. Could have had them turned, but didnt want to wait for that.
