Where the frick did you get 55k

MSRP is anywhere from 50 to 55 on the 2014's. Yes, you get a good bit off on the 13's but I've got a 2013 truck and it doesn't make much sense for me to drive one off the lot today that loses anywhere from 5 to 8k as soon as I pull out of the lot. That's just me though.

Who pays MSRP? The 13 are the same as the 14.

Pretty much any vehicle.

I just bought the 14 sierra and is nice. Real nice. Can't comment on dependability though, only been having it for a few weeks.

You imbecile. I drive a F150 and love it. Please do not take your anger out on me that you overpaid for your truck. Sorry you can't afford nice things either.

Sumbitch did seem awfully upset at a little truck talk.

I bought a 2013 Ford XLT (5.0)Screw 4x4 in August of last year. Best truck I've ever driven. Drove Chevy's and Gmc's for 20+ years. I needed a change. Looked at the Tundra crewmax 4x4 but the mpg and the added cost was out the box. I know people that paid 10 grand more for their Tundra than I paid for my F-150. And we have the same options. I wouldn't own a Dodge unless it has a Cummins. And I don't like Gm's technology on the 5.3's .Cylinder deactivation Switching to a 4 cyl. while driving, seems like problems in the future.

Everyone here will tell you that what they have is the best while pissing on any other make or model...do yourself a favor and research them all then go drive them all and decide for yourself.

Courtesy Ford will give you $10k off any 2013 F-150 on the lot. I priced a FX4 and they gave me $10k off the sticker. Low ball you on the trade but still a good deal. Ended up getting a good deal at Hub City because Courtesy didn't have the exact truck I wanted and Hub City did. HC gave me invoice and an extra $2k on my trade. Wasn't as good as a deal as Courtesy but still feel LAFB!

I had the same sort of technology in my charger and now have it in my sierra. It's different technology on the same principle, but I never had any problems with my charger. Hope I have the same luck with this one

Commenting on the dependability.

The last GMC I had needed a new transmission at 5,000 miles.
And that was after the dealership attempted to fix it.

Anyone have any clue how low the 2013 Fords are going to go? The lots are saturated with them right now, which is odd a month into 14. One would think they would have a fire sale and progressively take more off of them each week to move them.

I've had great luck with the Silverado. Mine has about 130,000 miles now and I've had no trouble. The small block V8 is a good motor. I think the new GMC trucks look amazing as well, and would probably be my choice for a new pickup now.

You can probably get the best deal on a Ford right now since they are redesigning their vehicle next year.

The Ram half ton diesel may be an interesting choice, but I'm not confident in Chrysler's durability and I doubt the dealers will be having fire sales on those particular models anytime soon.

My cousin got his in the same situation a few years back. Not sure exactly the time of year, but they needed to get rid of the previous model year trucks fast.

He paid around 38,000 for a lariat crew cab 4x4 with ecoboost.

just switched from an FX4 F150 to a Tundra. I will definitely be sticking with Toyota in the future. It's a great truck

Tundra is the answer here. Get the 5.7 and quit playing with the big 3 bullshite.

I promise you wont regret it

I don't understand what makes the Tundra some ultimate truck? The inside is very plain and not very comfortable. Plus the navigation/entertainment console has no comparison to the Fords. The Ford entertainment center is superior to Toyota. I think Tundras look nice but don't have a comfortable feel when you're driving them. I like more of a command center when I'm driving like the Ford.

Which obviously means every GMC on the lot or sold will need a new trans at 5,000 miles, right?
