I'm thinking about an original oil painting of some hunting dogs and ducks by a lake, but I'm open to suggestions.

By any chance do you have a picture of him hunting? If so, have it blown up, printed and framed.

I bet she thinks a trust fund counts as her own money.

It is my money. Also, I have my own investments that I have made with income that I have received that generate income, and I have other income too. I get no "money from Daddy" as someone said.

That is a good idea - I think there is one of my Dad hunting that my brother took a few years ago that might be good.

This might be better than the painting.

I loved getting any type of black iron pot or skillet. They aren't very expensive, and any guy that cooks outside, like jambalaya over propane, or fries fish, would probably love getting one. I'm not talking about a huge pot. I'm talking about either a skillet, or 6 qt, 8 qt pot.

Cast iron skillet is a good idea. Staub makes one that has enamel on the outside - and the price isn't bad (about $150). Staub also makes some good cast iron pots, but I'm thinking the enamel exterior might not be the way to go for cooking outdoors. I am thinking a Lodge product might be better.

Maybe this Lodge:

I don't like to buy products made from the Earth without her permission, tbh. But that's just me.

I certainly KNOW what Dad thinks about my chemtrail knowledge (though it is not a theory, but factual knowledge) so his reaction would be priceless.

"God oh mighty (my real name) what the hell are you giving me this for I'm not worried about the chemtrails, contrails or what the hell ever you want to call them ..."

Dad is more of a bourbon man. The make your own six pack is kind of a cool idea though.
