What do you do when someone spews vulgar language in public?

I was raised to respect others...I cringe when I hear someone cursing out loud in front of kids and women. I usually ask the person to please watch his/her language in front of the women and kids.

I get it around children, especially when they are are like human parrots.

But why do you cringe when someone swears in front of women?

Because some people still beleive in manners. No self respecting man should be able to talk vulgar in front of a woman.

If I chose to do anything about it, that would consume my entire day. It's a constant thing here. Maybe it's cultural or a function of the number of people/opportunities.

When it happens around my children, I use it as a teaching moment. "Dad, that guy said the f word a lot." "He sure did. That's because he's a trashy frick."

But a self-respecting man cares a lot about a little vulgar language someone else uses in front of women?

You sound like a SJWer with your virtue signaling.

I don't think Buck Eye gets it!
I was raised to respect others, that includes men, women & children.

OK? Then why didn't you just say spews vulgar language in front of anybody.

Plus, some random person spewing vulgar language has nothing to do with your own respectful behaviors.

But hey clearly you want everybody to know how "respectful" you are, making it known in public, bragging about it on a message board, and creating strawmans to make yourself look even better.

As offensive as I find it, I don't do anything because our society pretty much accepts it. In general, I try to avoid putting myself in situations that I find unpleasant...and that is one of them.

I have had to tell several people, including extended family, to watch their language. It is extremely trashy to use profanity around children it pisses me off when somebody curses in front of my kids. And yes, some men still believe in treating women with respect. Vulgar language has no place around my wife either.
