What is a common thing where you're from that may not be typical of other areas?
People actually offer to help others in stores even when they don't work there...
There are fewer people at work on opening day than on Christmas...

Our accent is different.
Everyone actually gets along: town is racially split 50/50 and I don't ever remember hearing about or seeing any racial issues.
