I remembered the creepy arse caterpillar from some rinky-dink park in gonzales. Dangerous, covered with rust and spiders, tons of fun.

I remember luring my little brother onto the see saw and using it normally for about 2 minutes. Then, just as he relaxed, slamming down as hard as I could and watching him catapult head over feet. Then praying to God I didn't break his neck. Then doing it again about a week later.

1. Teeter-totter
2. Merry-go-round
3. Monkey bars
4. ??? (Never saw one of those)

Iowa - Late 70's/early 80's

We also call a "Coke" a "pop" up here, sometimes you will hear someone call it a "soda" but not too often, though you won't get a strange look for using either term. Now that I think about that, I have never heard of anybody refer to a "pop machine" as anything other than a "pop machine". Do you guys down South call a vending machine that dispenses soda pop a "soda machine" or a "Coke machine" instead of a "pop machine"? Or do you use the general term "vending machine"?
