When I was young, my best friend was fat.

I didn't have see-saws. Just catapults.

MS in the 70s. Anybody have one of these things. We had some at school but they removed them because too many people getting hurt.

Get a couple of guys to pull the ring against the pole with victim on the opposite side. Start spinning around the pole really fast until the victim can hang on no more. When he let's go he would fly 10-15 ft before hitting the ground in cloud of dust

This is what I've always called it.

To the OP:

See-saw
Merry-go-round
Monkey Bars
I've never seen the 4th one

Grew up in Acadiana and used these from the late 80's to mid 90's.

I was at a playground not too long ago and saw that they now have rock walls. I was pretty pissed that we didn't have those growing up

My school had a big metal pole that looked similar to that one. We were told it had been a swing but it was dismantled because some kid had broken their neck on it.
You know it was dangerous if it was deemed
unsafe in the 70s. I swear grown-ups didn't give a frick about safety when I was kid...
Playground had a creek running along the edge - nobody cared if we played on the banks, we just couldn't get in the water. I can only imagine the Alcatraz-worthy fence running along the edge of that playground today...
