I just do my restroom-like business in the back yard

Not to be cheap though

I always order the smallest drink at eating places because they're so overpriced

I'll keep the same toothpick (those plastic ones with the floss) until I lose it, or it becomes unusable.

This is a terrible idea. The smallest drink usually had the most mark-up. For like 30 cent more, you get double the amount.

My sister and brother-in-law recently bought a "ranch" in Texas with a value, according to zillow, at 1.2 million

He reuses aluminum foil that he's baked potatoes in. 2 or 3 times he will carefully unwrap the potato, fold up the foil, and stick it back in the drawer to be used on another potato

Wash and save any aluminum pans that you may can use later.

If the take out containers like that are easy to clean, I'll rinse them and use them when I am grilling or smoking a lot of food, or for tailgates. More of a convenience thing of not having to go buy them at the store.

I'm not scrubbing baked on cheese or sugar out of them though

I toss foil, its recyclable. On a somewhat related note, I seem to attempt to recycle everything I possibly can. Our recycling bin is easily overflowing each week, while we may have 1-2 bags of garbage tops.
