You're misinterpreting the data.

Fatherless home = single parent. Single parent = one parent playing two roles = lower income, less social support, and less child rearing support. Single parent families are associated with other risk factors (poverty, lower education, psychological issues).

Therefore, when there are many known issues associated with single parent families, then you can't make your assumption without other data.

Besides, what kind of parent would a father (or mother) who abandons his (or her) family make? Probably worse than the other parent.

I respect women as (typically) capable child raisers. As a matter of fact, it's biblical, so I'm in total agreement with it.

I just recognize that the picture isn't complete without a man around that loves the kids and nurtures them also.

I should have explained myself better originally but I get lazy at times.

Ehhh, I could debate that easily. What are statistics on fatherless homes? Kern

As I said, they're better at child rearing. They're more compassionate towards kids than we are.

They are too compassionate at times, while men are to tough at times. That's how it balances out, at least that's what i tell my wife.

You know of any transcendent women in history when it comes to physics, mathematics, or chemistry?

Marie Curie, that's it.

You could raddle off a ton of men, but you can't do the same for women.
I guess they were too busy making sandwiches.

To be fair here, it wasn't until the last 50 years or so that women were as welcomed in academia as men. They weren't encouraged to be anything other than mothers from an early age. I think in the next 200 years you'll see a lot heavier presence of women near the top of academia. It will still be mostly men, but the numbers will change.

ETA:

There are more women in med school than men at the moment according to the doctors I work with at work.

Maybe floor routines with dancing and shite.

I used to go to a small restaurant in NYC owned by a Turkish guy. He told me women were better snipers than men, because they had a better feel for the trigger etc.

I had never verified it until now! Who knows if this is true but here ya go

Historically speaking that is an unfair question. Largely women have only been able to pursue the same level education and been given the same amount of access as men in fairly recent history.

There are currently women in academia at the top of their field.
